Job OverviewNew England Smiles is leading provider of dental service in MA. We have multiple offices and all offices are in busy strip mall locations with good patient flow. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, as our practice serves a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to determine dental health status.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Dentrix software.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide comprehensive care.- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
Experience- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.- Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.- Proficiency in medical documentation and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.- Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is advantageous.- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficient in using Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and systems relevant to dentistry
- Strong patient assessment skills, including taking vital signs and conducting medical imaging when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain diagnoses and treatment plans to patients
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
