Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid Virginia dental license and the ability to pass any required background checks.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience or training in oral surgery, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and infection control practices is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: $237,099.00 - $256,763.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 ââ¬â 16 per week
