Job Description
## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
## Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take X-rays and process dental images
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment and billing processes
- Ensure the dental practice is clean, sterile, organized, and well-stocked
## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with Open Dental
- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures
- Ability to maintain aseptic techniques during dental procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
