## Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic dental clinic setting.
## Duties- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental procedures by taking vital signs and documenting medical history- Perform X-Rays and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Epic software- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in the dental clinic- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance claims
## Experience### Required Skills:- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Knowledge of general dentistry practices, including pediatric dentistry- Experience with X-Ray imaging and medical coding- Familiarity with Dentrix or Epic software- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
### Nice-to-Have Skills:- Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment
