*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.
*Responsibilities*
- Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures.
-Entering treatment plans
-Take X-rays, placement of sealant, polish teeth, pack cord and fabrication of temporary crowns.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records using OpenDental software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant.
- Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices, infection control procedures, and medical documentation is essential.
- Familiarity with X-ray techniques and medical imaging is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
