Job Description

We are hiring for a part-time Dental/Surgical Assistant/Sterilization Technician (morning hours 8 am to 12 pm, Monday - Friday). Our office is located in Carson City, next to the Carson Tahoe Hospital. This position requires the assistant to be a good communicator, dependable, willing to learn, and be friendly and welcoming.
Responsiblities and Roles:

Select and arrange instruments, equipment, and materials required for procedures. Inventory and order dental supplies weekly.
Follow strict sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment.
Aid in recovering and providing post-operative care instructions to patients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory. Clean, sterilize and turn over rooms after each patient.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as a dental assistant or working in a medical setting is a plus.
Experience with dental instruments and sterilization techniques preferred.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a clinical setting.
Willing to learn and work as a team member.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:

4 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Morning shift
No weekends
