Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and maintaining an aseptic environment.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients before procedures.
Assist in managing inventory and ordering dental supplies as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience, at least 1 year, as a Dental Assistant is required.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures, particularly in prosthodontics.
Proficient in using dental software systems such as Open Dental is a plus.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
Understanding of anatomy related to dentistry is beneficial.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a busy environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ââ¬â 40 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
