Job Description
** PEDIATRIC Dentist **
Immediate opening for a motivated pediatric dentist to join our growing team at Southwest Pediatric Dental in Orland Park, IL. Compensation of $1200 daily minimum or 30% of collections on all procedures including x-rays, and hygiene. Full-time or part-time positions available. Office hours are 7:30am-2:30 pm Monday through Friday. We do not work evenings or weekends. Oral conscious sedation and in-office general anesthesia services provided. New grads welcome to apply! Must be current pediatric dental resident or graduate of pediatric dental residency program to apply.

Duties:
- Perform dental examinations and diagnostic procedures on patients- Develop treatment plans and provide appropriate dental care- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or other dental practice management systems- Provide pediatric dental care and ensure a comfortable and positive experience for young patients- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice
Skills:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry- Proficiency in using practice management systems- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatments, and oral health conditions- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to perform a wide range of dental procedures- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to provide high-quality dental care- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
