Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team starting June 1, 2025 due to our dentist/ hygienist retiring. Come join our friendly team at our cozy family practice in beautiful Summit, NJ. Hours preferred: Tuesday 8-4pm, Thursday 8-4pm, Friday 8-12 noon. Pay starts at $55 per hour with bonus structure in addition. Benefits include paid holidays plus additional paid time off. Dental. No medical. Please email resume or CV. Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of the dental office, including scheduling appointments and maintaining a clean workspace.
Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and best practices to ensure high-quality patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience in documentation review and maintaining medical records is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
