OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, compassionate, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings and may assist with other dental procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Administer local anesthetic and apply fluoride treatments- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Conduct patient assessments including vital signs monitoring- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards
Experience- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems- Ability to review and maintain accurate medical documentation- Strong knowledge of infection control practices- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $47.32 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
