Job Description
OverviewFoothills Family Dental in Duncan, SC is seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join our team! This is a husband and wife practice that values patient experience, exceptional clinical care and a family-friendly environment. We do not do drama here, and we see each other as family. Our goal is to find someone who wants to have their dental home with us! The office hours are Monday-Thursday 8 am-5pm. Eaglesoft software is used. Three weeks paid vacation, 401k match. We are excited for the opportunity to meet our next team member!
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as necessary.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques and medical imaging equipment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
