Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting excellent oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review and document patient medical histories and current medications, ensuring accurate documentation.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient scheduling, record keeping, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance patient care.
Provide support in dental assisting tasks as needed, ensuring smooth workflow within.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Experience

Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is an asset.
Background in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for effective documentation review.
