Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing quality dental care and ensure excellent patient service. We work 7:30-4:30 Monday-Thursday.
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental x-rays- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred- Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control protocols- Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments- Familiarity with medical coding and imaging techniques- Dentrix experience a plus- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
