Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, as well as experience with dental software systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Review and document vital signs and medical histories accurately.
Utilize Eaglesoft and other dental software systems for patient documentation and record management.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Perform medical imaging tasks, including X-rays, as required.
Exhibit knowledge of anatomy and pediatric dentistry to provide tailored care for diverse patient populations.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Experience with documentation review and maintaining medical records is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while delivering compassionate patient care.
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $45.32 - $50.00 per hour
