Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience in our clinic.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Assess and document patient oral health status, including medical history and current conditions.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans in compliance with clinic protocols.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care within the dental office.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with medical records management and documentation review is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is advantageous but not required.
