Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced, positive, and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, possess excellent clinical skills, and have a strong commitment to patient care and education.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal examinations
Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Develop and implement individualized oral health care plans for patients
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment planning
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Comfortable working with a 3-D digital scanner.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
Current CPR certification
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency with Dentrix software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist
Knowledge of advanced periodontal techniques
