Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist (Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8-5pm) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and patient assessment techniques.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and sterilization of instruments.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management and scheduling appointments.
Collaborate with dentists to provide four-handed dentistry during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
Stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.

Requirements

Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of Eaglesoft being a plus.
Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health is essential.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team while providing exceptional patient care.
