We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our amazing team. We are a very well-established private practice in beautiful Merrit Island with a full -time opportunity available for a talented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to become part of our family.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments
Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and medical history reviews
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and providing suction
Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed at all times
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient charting and scheduling
Stay up-to-date with current dental practices and advancements in the field



Requirements:

Valid FL dental hygiene license
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
