Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
Assess and document patient oral health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Utilize Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems for patient records and scheduling.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay updated with current dental practices, terminology, and technologies relevant to pediatrics and general dentistry.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred; familiarity with dental assisting is a plus.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical coding practices.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing individual responsibilities.
Experience with pediatrics is an advantage but not mandatory.
