Duties and Responsibilities
Thorough gentle prophylaxis (60 min prophy, 90 new patient prophy)
Periodontal probing
Periodontal scaling and root planing (90 min SRP)
Periodontal antibiotic placement
Fluoride treatment applications
Taking accurate blood pressure readings
Performing initial teeth examination
Oral cancer screening
Nutrition counseling
Oral hygiene instructions
Sealant application
Digital panorex
Digital bitewings and periapical Xrays
Intraoral Photography
OSHA management
Instrument sterilization
Local anesthesia
Accurately reading Xrays
Aiding dentist in formulating a treatment plan for patients
In addition to the skills listed above, successful candidates should be up to date on dental technology, dental health maintenance, infection control, administering medication, health promotion, and maintenance. It is important that this person exhibits a calm and welcoming bedside manner, creates a safe and effective environment for patients and teammates, practices active listening, is team-driven, thorough, and a self-developer.

Pay rate based on experience.
