Position: Dental Hygienist
Preferred Minimum Experience: 3 year
Work Environment:1. We try to help each other when someone needs help. If you are behind schedule and assistants are available to help, they can take X-rays for you.2. You will have one hour for each appointment.3. Dr. Hwang will never ask you to perform or promote any unnecessary dental treatments to patients based on your recommendation.
Responsibilities:1. Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.2. Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and dental examinations.3. Administer local anesthesia when necessary.4. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and overall oral health maintenance.5. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and analyze them for diagnostic purposes.6. Conduct oral cancer screenings and identify any abnormalities.7. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination.8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Requirements:1. Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.2. Current dental hygiene license in the state.3. Proficiency in administering local anesthesia4. Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.5. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Schedule:1. 9AM to 5PM with 1 hour lunch time2. Two days within the weekdays
