Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Wellness Dental Care - Wethersfield, CT

Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions- Conduct patient assessments and screenings for oral diseases- Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans- Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Must have dental hygiene certification.
Skills:- Proficient in dental office procedures and protocols.- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures.- Familiarity with medical records management and medical coding systems- Experience using electronic health record systems, such as curve- Strong patient assessment skills and ability to identify oral health issues- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Ability to maintain aseptic technique during dental procedures
