Overview:We are a well-established, patient-centered dental practice seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our ideal candidate is committed to providing excellent patient care, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and supporting the dentist in delivering high-quality dental services. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care through effective dental assessments and hygiene procedures.
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state regulations
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and operatories
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with dental terminology.
Utilize dental software Dentrix for patient management
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Partner with the dentist in co-diagnosis

Qualifications

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
CPR certification
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude.
Proficient in prophylaxis, scaling and root planing
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with aseptic techniques and patient assessment
Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation review
Knowledge of Dentrix software
Ability to perform adult and pediatric hygiene and vital signs assessment
Detail-oriented with a passion for helping patients maintain optimal oral health
