What you will do:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing
Take and develop dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions
Conduct patient assessments and document medical history and treatment plans
Assist the dentist during procedures and perform dental assisting duties as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

Job Type: Full-time day shift with 3.5 Day workweek and flexible schedule
Work setting: In person/office
Salary: $93,000 - $105,000 per year

What you need:
Hygiene License (Required)
Radiology Certification (Preferred)
Local Anesthesia Certification (Preferred)
CPR Certification (Preferred)
Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
Knowledge of medical documentation and patient assessment
Familiarity with dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic
Ability to take and develop dental x-rays
Strong communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Attention to detail for accurate documentation of patient records
Ability to work well in a team environment alongside dentists and other dental professionals
Knowledge of vital signs and medical records management
Ability to relocate to Portland, ME before starting work (Required)
