Our office has been open for 8+ years. We are privately owned with 4 doctors and 7 hygienists in Centerton, Arkansas. We pride ourselves on providing an encouraging and uplifting environment for our employees and our patients. With the constant increase to the population in Northwest Arkansas, specifically Centerton, we are in need of a hard working Dental Hygienist to join our team.
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist that embodies our Core Values, and finds pride in treating their patients with the utmost care.
Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities
Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable
Assess for signs of gingivitis or periodontitis
Notate and inform the dentist of suspicious areas that appear on x-rays or are visible intraorally
Remove plaque and calculus accordingly
Apply fluoride varnish, silver diamine fluoride, and sealants
Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages
Provide post-operative health education to patients
Take diagnosable x-ray images of the patientsââ¬â¢ teeth
Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
Keep detailed records of each patientââ¬â¢s visit and update their health history
Be a team player while working in a fast paced environment
Requirements
Associateââ¬â¢s degree or bachelor's degree in registered dental hygiene program required
Has an active Arkansas Dental Hygiene License
Current CPR Certification
Certified to use a laser - preferred but not required (will be provided if not currently certified)
Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
Days and Hours
1 day a week
Wednesday 7:30am - 7:30pm
Patients seen from 8am-12:00pm and 1:30-7pm
Pay
$40 - $43 per hour
