Do you love working with children? Come join us in a great deal of fun! We are a privately owned dental office in Indianapolis that sees only children. We are seeking a talented & enthusiastic Hygiene Assistant to join a team of very experienced hygienists!
The Hygiene Assistant's primary role is to provide complete assistance to the hygienists, allowing them to see a full schedule of patients. The Hygiene Assistant main responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist the doctors and hygienists in seeing patients
- Take x-rays
- Review the hygiene schedule and help maintain patient flow throughout the day
- Assist patients with updating medical forms
- Review patient's charts and anticipate the hygienist's needs prior to patient's arrival.
- Set up, prepare and sterilize dental equipment and instrumentation
- Monitor schedule and help fill cancellations through quick-fill calls/texts
- Provide excellent customer service to help ensure a smooth and efficient visit for the patient

Duties:

Assisting chair-side
Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
Using computers to update electronic patient records
Assisting with lab tasks as needed

Job Type: Full-time
