Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.
Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
Experience with medical imaging and familiarity with medical records management.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is advantageous.
Strong understanding of general dentistry principles and procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus.

Pay: $40.48 - $42.17 per hour
