My team and I are searching for an enthusiastic and highly skilled dentist to join our practice in Tonawanda, NY Office.
At Bison Dentistry, we are known for educating, guiding, and providing compassionate care for our patients along a path of optimal oral health. We provide accessible insurance and financing options to allow our patients to improve and maintain the best possible oral health. Dentist Requirements
A license to practice dentistry (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
State license, malpractice insurance, DEA, CPR Certificates
Patience and a drive to help grow the practice
A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable
Experience with basic dental procedures
Experience with Invisalign, implants, and scanning are a definite plus
Our dental practice management software is Open Dental (We will train!)
Dentist Duties & Responsibilities
Examine patientsââ¬â¢ medical records
Actively make a positive impact on office culture
Check teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth, along with X-rays and test, to diagnose dental problems
Identify tooth decay and replace cavities with fillings
Design and fit dental prosthetics, such as bridges, crowns, and dentures
Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures
Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones
Prescribe medication as needed
Educate patients on proper brushing techniques, flossing
Promote excellent oral health and preventive dental care (e.g. by scheduling regular
appointments)
Pay & Benefits:
Health Insurance - 50% of the cost is contributed by the employer
Dental Insurance - up to $2,000 of in office benefits per year
