Job OverviewWe are seeking a friendly compassionate assistant who is able to multitask and is a hard worker. Expanded Duty Dental Assistant is preferred but xray certification and coronal polishing is required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking care of patients, placing fillings, making temporaries, taking xrays. We are in office Monday through Thursday typically about 28-34 hours a week.
Responsibilities- Greet patients with a welcoming demeanor when bringing them to the back for care- Placing fillings (preferred), making temporaries- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical information- Explaining to patients their treatment- Being kind and courteous to all patients- Working as a team
Skills- Proficiency in medical records management- Knowledge of prosthodontics and general dentistry procedures- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques- Understanding of anatomy and vital signs- Familiarity with Eaglesoft similar electronic health record systems- Ability to maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards; understanding how important this is- Experience with 3D scanners is a plus
