As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about their dental health, performing preventive care, and assisting in various dental procedures. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care for patients, including assisting during procedures.
Maintain sterilization of instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficiency in Pediatrics, with experience in Pediatric dentistry preferred.
Familiarity with dental systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management.
Knowledge of Medical coding and Medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in Dental assisting is a plus, enhancing collaborative care capabilities.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work within a team environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure high-quality patient care.

Pay: $450.00 - $500.00 per day
