Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our dental practice in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of general dentistry and a passion for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions- Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures- Provide guidance on oral hygiene and preventive dental care- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
Experience- Proficiency in root canal therapy, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance in a dental setting- Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment- Strong grasp of dental terminology and medical records management
