Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments. You will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, endodontics, and restorative treatments.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in accordance with industry standards.
Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Active dental license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge related to dentistry.
Experience with dental extractions and endodontic procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with infection control practices and regulations within a dental office setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
Knowledge of Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
