Newly renovated, and quickly growing Independently-Owned General Dental office seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are adding additional days and another Doctor to our practice and need the extra help! This position is for Monday and Friday starting immediately and then the addition of Tuesdays in March with the option to pick up other shifts to cover sick/vacation days.
Full office hours- Monday and Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm (patient care from 9-5 with a lunch break)
In addition to direct patient care other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Assist the doctor with anesthesia- licensure and willingness are REQUIRED
· Running sterilization
· Clinical charting in our electronic EAGLESOFT software system
· Review of patient charts including medical history
· Periodontal probing/charting on all adult patients at every appointment
· Providing recommendations regarding preventative procedures
· Patient education
· Sealant application
· Accurately and efficiently entering clinical notes
Ideal candidates would also be willing to cover basic duties in the front when necessary...
· Helping answer phone lines
· Scheduling to maximize productivity
· Greeting patients as they arrive
· Helping patients complete the paperless check-in forms
· Checking out patients
· Cleaning and restocking the office common areas
· Collecting co-pays/payment at the time of service
This person also has to be able to maintain a happy, personable, and comforting demeanor.Ideal applicant will be outgoing, organized, energetic, have outstanding communication and patient service skills as well as previous private practice experience, but most importantly is a “self-starter” who can work independently and is able to anticipate need.Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software is preferred.This position offers professional growth and the opportunity to work with an amazing team in an exciting new, state-of-the-art office.
