Job Description

TDL Dental Group is currently seeking a registered dental hygienist. Candidate must be an enthusiastic team player who is organized with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Provide dental health education about tooth care and diet- Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth- Take dental radiographs- Apply prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay- Treat and help prevent gingivitis and periodontitis- Ensure that sterile conditions are maintained- Clean and sterilize all equipment and working surfaces to the required standards at the end of each session- Use a range of different dental instruments- Maintain patient dental records; update all medical records as necessary
Qualifications- Registered Dental Hygienist certification- Proficiency in chairside assisting and dental terminology- Strong knowledge of general dentistry and HIPAA regulations- Experience with aseptic technique and infection control- Excellent communication skills- Familiarity with dental office procedures and medical terminology
