Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. Your expertise in dental terminology and aseptic techniques will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, including treatment notes and health histories.
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to patient appointments.
Provide care tailored to pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.
Collaborate with dental assistants to ensure a well-organized and efficient office environment.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and aseptic techniques.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures effectively.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is desirable but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
