OverviewWe are seeking a superstar, do-it-all Dental Assistant to join our dynamic, cozy log cabin dental practice near Lake Minnetonka. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentist and other healthcare professionals to support various dental procedures and enhance the overall patient experience. Duties- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.- Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment following aseptic techniques.- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as needed.- Support various specialties including Endodontics and Pediatrics by preparing appropriate materials and instruments.- Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for record keeping and scheduling.- Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding to assist in patient care effectively.
Qualifications- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures, medical imaging techniques, and aseptic techniques is highly desirable.- Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy is beneficial for effective communication within the team.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.- Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
