Position: Dental Hygienist

Type: 13-Week Contract w/Extensions
Location: New York, NY (Harlem)
Shiftfs: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM - 5 days Per week
Hourly Rate: $64.00
Anticpated Start Date: 12/16/2024
Overview: We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join dental practice. This role involves working closely with patients to provide high-quality dental hygiene services, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their treatment.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist issued by NYSED
Associate's Degree
Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
Xray certification preferred.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Document patient care accurately in Dentrix or Eaglesoft systems, maintaining up-to-date records.
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice.
Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, adapting techniques to suit their needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Pay: $64.00 per hour
