Job Title: Dental Hygienist Location: New York, NY 10037 Duration: 13-week contract (extendable) Shift: 08 hours/day, 40 hours/week (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist for a 13-week contract to provide essential oral care and treatment. The role includes performing a variety of duties aimed at promoting good oral health and hygiene for patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Remove calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from patients' teeth.
Apply topical agents to teeth, such as fluoride treatments.
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices.
Take and expose X-ray films.
Polish teeth for a clean, smooth finish.
Take medical histories and vital signs to ensure patient safety.
Chart caries and periodontal conditions to assist in treatment planning.
Apply pit and fissure sealants, and desensitizing agents to the teeth.

Required Certifications:

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist issued by NYSED.
Primary Source Verification is required.
X-ray certification preferred but not mandatory.
