Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice focused on Dental Implants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental systems, aseptic techniques, and anatomy, along with experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices. Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft systems.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques.
Proficient in using Dentrix and Eaglesoft software systems.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients.
Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining patient focus.
