Job Overview
Barnegat Dental is looking for a skilled Dental Hygienest to join our team! We are looking for someone to work Mondays and Wednesdays. We are an easy going private dental practice with a great group of patients.
Hours:
Hours for Monday and Wednesday would be 745-6 with a one hour lunch break from 1-2.
## Responsibilities
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform patient assessments and charting
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver excellent patient care
## Skills
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software systems
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques
- Ability to take vital signs and practice HIPAA compliance
- Experience with four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
