Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize dental imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Review documentation and maintain accurate patient records within the office systems.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and best practices within the field.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly with Eaglesoft systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
Ability to provide compassionate patient care, especially for pediatric populations.
Familiarity with documentation review processes to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
