Qualifications:
Registered Dental Hygienist licensed with the State of Montana
Licensed in delivery of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
Current BLS and CPR certification
Duties:
Ability to work cooperatively amongst the dental team to coordinate treatment and effective communication with patients. Energetic, efficient, and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
JOB SPECIFICS/EXPECTATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Be punctual
Have an active Hygiene license and be in good standing within the profession
Review the daily schedule and work with the administrative assistant for templated patient ..scheduling
Review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary
Accurately chart each patientââ¬â¢s periodontal health
Perform thorough and gentle prophylaxis for patients
Perform scaling, root planing and selective polishing for patients as appropriate
When applicable, administer local anesthetic
Place medicaments subgingivally for periodontal disease treatment
Educate and take radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentist
Apply cavity-preventive agents, such as fluorides and sealants
Communicate with patients in an understandable and professional way
Accurately and appropriately record provided treatment
Teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients and counsel patients on oral health, including the role of nutrition
Perform other tasks assigned by the dentist
Follow OSHA regulations with regard to operatory cleanliness/disinfection, equipment operation, as well as sterilization procedures.
Wages:
Pay: $40-$50/hour

Full time hours: Monday-Thursday, 8-4 with a 7:20am office arrival time.
