Job Type: Full-time-37.5-hour work week,
$16-18 per hour based on experience, 5% raise at successful completion of 6mos probationary period, eligible for annual raises.
Purchase District Health Department is looking for a full-time full-benefit Program Coordinator for our Floss and Gloss program.
The Floss and Gloss Dental Program is an in school dental program offered to children and adolescents, enrolled in grades K-12. The Floss and Gloss program provides preventative dental care to students as well as referrals for follow up treatment.
Program Coordinator will work in school setting with dental hygienist on scheduled school days and in office. Work in school setting will include duties such as uploading documents, data entry, helping with set up and tear down, and other duties as assigned. On office days, program coordinator will coordinate with school and maintain employee and school schedule. Program coordinator will collect forms, register children, bill services, do data entry for grant reports, make educational/resource bags for children and sterilize and package dental instrument trays. Program Coordinator may be required to go to back to school events. Other duties as assigned.
On school weeks, program coordinator may have varying schedules with start times as early as 6 and as late as 5 but will not exceed 37.5 per week. In these weeks, program coordinator will be off on Fridays due to flextime.
Requirements:
Willingness to regularly travel within a 1.25-hour radius. Transportation from the office (Paducah, KY) and back is provided. Travel time is included as hours worked.
Must be able to work with children of all ages
Must be able to lift boxes of materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
Assist in loading, unloading, set up, and removal of mobile dental clinic
Excellent communication and people skills
Computer skills
Organizational skills
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior administrative or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
