This job is a partnership between Tru Healthcare & Baltimore Medical System/Johns Hopkins Hospital. We are also hiring a general dentist and pediatric dentist - please refer to other job listings.
Job Description and Expectations:

Manage your schedule to allow for comprehensive patient care and education.
Expand your knowledge and skills through structured continuing professional development
Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to always provide the highest level of care
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state of Maryland

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program required (bachelors or AA degree)
Current licensure as a dental hygienist in Maryland
Waiver of Supervision Certification preferred; eligibility to obtain certificate required
Public Health and Hygiene Certificate preferred
Certificate to provide local anesthesia preferred
Certificate to monitor nitrous oxide preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
