Our office is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our team. We strive to provide excellent care to our patients in a welcoming and family like atmosphere and need a professional who shares the same philosophy. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, infection control requirements, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Our office works as a team and needs a hygienist who is motivated, friendly , reliable, shows to work with positive attitude and wants to find an office that they can call a dental home!
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Sterilization skills and room breakdown.
Document patient medical histories, maintain accurate medical records and chart patients existing restorations using Open Dental software.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with medical terminology and clinic protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction during visits.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Proficient in dental hygiene practices and infection control.
Good team player with a friendly, positive attitude.
Commitment to provide excellent Periodontal Therapy, Preventative services, and support patient's understanding for necessary treatment.
Familiarity with Open Dental software is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent documentation review skills to maintain accurate patient records.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Confident in administering local anesthesia.
Digital xRays and electronic charting.

License/ Certification:

Active CPR
Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $62.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 8 per week
