Job Opportunity: Part-Time Dental Assistant for MOBILE SCHOOL DENTIST
Are you passionate about dental care and enjoy working with children? Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Dental Assistant for our Mobile School Dental Program!
Position: Part-Time Dental Assistant,Location: Metro Detroit and surrounding areas, we are a MOBILE dentist , we travel to different schools in and around Detroit, staying at a school anywhere from 1-5 days per schoolHours: Flexible, typically during school hours (typically 8:00-2:30 at latest) no weekends
RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST AS WE TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS IN AND AROUND DETROIT
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK as required by Detroit Public Schools
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist with routine dental procedures
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Ensure a clean and safe work environment
Interact with students and school staff in a professional manner
Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred but not required
Previous experience in a dental setting preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compassionate and patient-focused
Ability to travel to various schools in and around Metro Detroit
