Job Description

We are a small, privately owned, family forward general dental practice. We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make our dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent patient care while working side by side with our doctor.
We offer a four day work week with 401k, paid time off, sick pay, and paid holidays. Every other weekend we offer a four-day weekend and alternate between working Mon-Thurs and Tues-Fri.
On the job training is provided and paid. We will provide CPR certification, HIPAA/OSHA training and x-ray training and certification at no charge to you (paid training too!)
Responsibilities and Skills

Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Work solo in some aspects of patient care
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations

New graduates from dental assisting school are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
