We are seeking a skilled dentist to assist our clients in achieving optimum oral health at our busy practice. The ideal applicant should have the experience, current licensure in good standing, caring bedside manner, and effective communication skills. $240,000 - $260,000 yearly Responsibilities:
Determine and diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including root canals, surgical extractions, cleanings, and restoration
Inspect the patientsââ¬â¢ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to identify any areas of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health
Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated
Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines
Issue referral for the client to dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate
Work alongside our dental hygienists, multi-specialty Doctors, and administrative staff in composing comprehensive treatment plans
Qualifications:
Relevant knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is an asset
State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing
Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry
Great communication skills and bedside manner are vital
Should be computer proficient
General Practice Residency (GPR)
NYS dental license
NYS resident
