Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in various procedures.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides to protect teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Document patient treatment plans and progress using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members in four-handed dentistry practices.
Provide care tailored to specific populations, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental clinic or office setting.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Proficient understanding of human anatomy related to dentistry.
Experience in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or other dental management software is a plus.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
