Job Description
Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, assisting the dentist and ensuring the comfort of our patients.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and trimming models- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Skills:- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care- Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software- Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week

Monday to Friday
No weekends
